Empower Hours: My Passion to support Women to Thrive in Business
When I started my first business over 15 years ago I had no idea the journey I was about to embark on or the growth that self employment would create for me both in business and personally.
My Story
Growing up, I was a shy and quiet child. I struggled to find my voice and connect with others on a deeper level. Despite these challenges, I always approached life with dedication and a strong work ethic, passed down to me by my hard-working parents. My career spanned two decades, I embraced various roles in admin, sales and banking, ultimately finding myself as a business owner purely by chance in 2009.
In 2009, I embarked on my journey into business ownership by launching Your Local PA, an admin support service for small businesses. The initial months were filled with challenges, but I persevered and discovered the power of networking. Connecting with inspiring individuals who generously shared their knowledge and experiences, I witnessed my business go from strength to strength and I soon had a full client list.
In 2014, I opened my own business centre in Tamworth Staffordshire, fulfilling a vision that had seemed impossible just a few years prior. This marked the beginning of a series of achievements, including being recognized with the Best Service Business of the Year Award and successfully guiding numerous small businesses toward their own success stories. One resulting in an offer to become a 50% shareholder in a clients business, a Quality and Environmental Management consultancy business, which I accepted and we grew the business together successfully for 5 years. I still work with a small client base helping my clients to implement and maintain the Internationally recognised ISO9001 quality accreditation.
I am also a multi Award winning Networker and have been running my own supportive networking groups since 2014. The covid pandemic created the opportunity for me to launch the Womens Business Network and follow my passion to support my fellow women in business on a much deeper level.

Empower Hours are a unique offering born from my personal journey, my deep desire to make a meaningful impact and experience gained supporting and growing a variety of different businesses. It is a personalised, one-to-one power hour experience designed to help you address your challenges, and unlock your full potential. We often already have all the skills and knowledge to succeed we just need an independent perspective to help us to gain the clarity we need to move forward in our businesses.
During our Empower Hour sessions, we will chat openly about you and your business and I will ask you to be vulnerable. It is your opportunity to tap into my 15 years business experience, the personal development work that has helped me to grow my confidence and self belief and my extensive network of connections. I have been on my own journey of transformation over the last 15 years so I am able to listen and empathise fully with you from a true place of understanding.
