Workshop 1: Find your Purpose in Business and Life

Tuesday 29th March 9.30am – 12.30pm

When you know your purpose, you feel connected to your inner compass, your North Star. This workshop is about how to find it!

What is purpose?

Having a sense of purpose is the motivation that drives you toward a satisfying future. Your sense of purpose helps you get the most of life and it helps you achieve what matters most to you. Most importantly, it feeds intrinsic motivation and it creates meaning from life. Purpose is our driver. Certainly, purpose is a fundamental component of a fulfilling business and life. My purpose is to help you find yours.

What influences your sense of purpose?

Your beliefs, values and behaviours, your passions and what you’re good at can shape your sense of purpose.

Your sense of purpose can change as you grow, as you learn new things about the world and about yourself, as you meet new people and experience new things. What matters is knowing how to identify what matters most to you.

About this workshop…

In this workshop, one of the concepts I use is discovering your Ikigai (your reason for being).

It’s a Japanese concept where your passion, mission, vocation and profession come together. It centres around 4 questions:

• What do you love?• What are you good at?• What could you be paid for?• What does the world need?

I’ll take you through a series of exercises and questions to help you explore these areas so that you can define your unique ikigai, which will be different for each person. You will leave with your own purpose statement and a greater sense of who you are, what’s energises you and what’s truly important to you.

When you start to understand who you are, what your purpose is, you have an inner inner compass, which fuels your motivation and guides your decision making.

Workshop 2: Create a Compelling Vision for 2022

Thursday 12th April 2022 – 2.00-5.00pm

Achieve your dreams by seeing it, believing it and training your brain to execute and act on it!

We often start the New Year feeling inspired and ready for change. We lie awake imagining our dreams (it feels great!). We talk about them to our partner. We ask ourselves, how can we make it happen?

However, more often than not, we do the same behaviours that keep us from making a change.

Research shows that the odds against you making a change in your life are 9:1. Change can be challenging.

To help us achieve our dream, we need to see it….then believe it and then train our brain to act on it and execute the plan.

How do we do that? We start by creating a clear vision, by seeing it. A picture speaks a thousand words and evokes emotion. Emotions move us to take action.

We then underpin that vision with clear goals and a robust step by step action plan.

This workshop, offers you …

• a fun, creative way to create a compelling vision for your business and life and a clear goals plan

• a proven methodology for goal setting

• a robust weekly action plan to help you take consistent action towards your goals

Workshop 3: The Mindset you need for Peak Performance and Happiness

So we know our purpose, we have a clear vision and goals, but what gets in the way of our success is our mind! This workshop shows you how to stop sabotaging yourself and create a success mindset.

What’s this event about?

Peak performance is a state when you are at your best, delivering results, feeling in the flow. While there are challenges, you’re able to overcome them and you feel ease and flow in your work and life.

Many say getting in a state of peak performance at work is about being motivated, developing the right habits, staying productive, and managing your energy.

However, despite our best intentions we often self-sabotage in the way we respond to challenges. We fall into patterns of stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, shame, guilt and unhappiness.

The key is mental fitness; being able to weaken the internal voices (saboteurs) that generate all your negativity in response to challenges.

And at the same time strengthen the ‘sage’ part of your brain that handles challenges with positive emotions such as curiosity, creativity and calm, clear, laser-focused action.

In this workshop we will cover:

• What is mindset

• How we sabotage ourselves

• The sage perspective

• How to build the 3 core muscles to achieve peak performance and happiness

About Ruth

Ruth is a leadership and mental fitness coach passionate about supporting leaders and entrepreneurs to optimise their performance and happiness in their careers AND have a big impact.

She’s an ACC ICF accredited, an NLP practitioner and a PQ Mental Fitness Coach.

For years she was a high achiever who constantly pushed herself to achieve and deliver, but at the expense of her health, her happiness and wellbeing. What she’s learned through Mental Fitness is that you can improve your performance and results AND feel happier in many areas of life. If you build the mental muscles, you can have the ability to handle whatever challenges life/work throws at you without getting stressed and upset, resulting in improved performance, greater peace and wellbeing and better relationships. She wants that for you too.
