Sue has kindly agreed to come along and do a talk on her work with Charity Lend with Care
Sue…Sue Tonks is multi-faceted.
Running 7 businesses she is always busy adapting in a quickly changing world.
Sue is an International Trainer and Speaker on Networking and Leadership and Management.
She has published her first book “Can I Have A Word?” about dealing effectively with behaviour, attitude and performance difficulties without losing control, falling out or anyone getting upset!!
Sue is also the Inventor and manufacturer of multi-award winning Hydroveg Kits, a sustainable way to grow veg at home all year round with no soil, using little water and taking up little garden or yard space. Her multi award winning product allows people to grow and pick fresh veg daily with no heavy garden work, and no skills! Her invention is currently taking part in University scientific trials to take the astronauts to Mars!
Sue, and her wife also called Sue have a property portfolio, 2 network marketing businesses and run an Air BNB from their home.
9 years ago, Sue found a way of supporting women in business across the developing world on a continuous basis with just one payment. Lend With Care is very important to Sue as her main charity. In 2016 she did a 650km charity cycle through Laos and across Cambodia for lend with care and met many of the women she had loaned to. It was a powerful experience.
Lend with Care brings together entrepreneurs in low-income countries with the people that have the power to help them – people like you. Run by CARE International UK, one of the world’s leading poverty fighting organisations, Lendwithcare is a revolutionary way for you to help people to work their way out of poverty with dignity.
Sharon started her journey with Lend with Care supporting women in developing countries in March 2023 after learning about it from Sue. Sue will be sharing with us her experiences of supporting this charity for some years and all the entrepeneurs and familes she has been able to help as a result.
